With a strong focus on retaining employees with highly sought-after skills and specialist knowledge, Walz Construction now has a stable team of 200 personnel comprising boilermakers, pressure welders, fitters, riggers, scaffolders, truck and crane drivers, engineering, project management and administration support staff.
While our primary project focus is on the site erection of structural steel, conveyor galleries, tanks, bins, stacks, piping and the installation of mechanical equipment, we have also become adept at handling the more unique projects clients bring to us.
Walz Construction has an extensive range of equipment and machinery available for site work, ranging from 8 to 400 tonne capacity cranes, prime movers and an inventory that includes two self elevating platforms to host marine works, all of which is supported by a fully operational and resourced workshop located in Gladstone, Queensland.
Producing work for clients safely and to specification is the primary goal for Walz Construction. Through the effective selection and retention of skilled employees and the support of management through open communication, all project scopes are clearly conveyed, along with quality expectations.
All products and services are supplied in accordance with our client’s specific requirements. Before seeking customer approval and acceptance, Walz Construction has processes in place for verifying that all contractual obligations are satisfied to specified standards.
A leadership team with many years experience in project management is a valuable asset we bring to many of our contracts. Our team is well versed in understanding the varying work scopes and the interaction required by clients for projects. Ensuring clients receive effective concise reporting regularly ensures successful projects that meet all expectations.
The stability of the Walz workforce, coupled with the company’s up-to-date resources, has contributed to the company’s success and longevity.
